Care for underprivileged children in Ghana

Volunteers can contribute to preparing kids for a bright future by engaging in activities such as playing games, serving meals, and providing essential one-on-one attention and love. This care placement is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are interested in working with children and ensuring their well-being and welfare.

Considering that most children at the orphanage attend school during the day, we have designed a program that combines teaching and care. Volunteers have the opportunity to work at the orphanage school in the morning and then dedicate their afternoons to offering care, necessary support, mentoring, or engaging in games with the children at the orphanage.

You should come prepared with ideas for activities suitable for children of different ages – think of your favorite playground games, nursery rhymes, stories, arts and crafts sessions.

Program Details
Program Duration
The program is open from 1 to 8 Weeks. Additional weeks are available if you wish to stay longer. We’re able to accommodate up to 12 weeks.
Program Date
The program is open year round. You can volunteer at anytime.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 7 hours per day up to 35 hours per week.
Program Requirement
Participants must be at least 16 years or older, patient, enjoy working with children, have the desire to make a positive impact, and want to experience a new culture.
$975 – 1 Week // PP
$1900 – 2 Weeks // PP
$2800 – 3 Weeks // PP
$600 – Extra Week // PP
What program fee covers
To save your spot, a $250 reservation deposit is required. The deposit paid comes off your total program fee. It is not an added-on fee.
